Carbon Reduction: AROMASE Earns Top Certification for 1.5℃ Temperature Control Target

AROMASE’s Commitment to the Paris Agreement’s 1.5℃ Temperature Control Target

In 2024, AROMASE was evaluated through TRIPS (Temperature Rising Index for Pathways) by CommonWealth Magazine, which calculates companies’ contributions to limiting global warming. AROMASE was recognized as one of the companies meeting the Paris Agreement’s target of limiting temperature rise to 1.5℃, achieving the top honor for carbon reduction efforts.

Why is limiting the temperature increase to 1.5℃ crucial?

The Paris Agreement, signed in 2015, aims to cap global warming at well below 2°C, striving for a 1.5°C limit based on scientific studies highlighting the severe impacts of exceeding these temperatures, such as heatwaves, droughts, floods, and hurricanes. These events pose threats not just to humans but also to biodiversity and ecosystems. Learn more: The Paris Agreement

AROMASE’s Temperature Control Target of 1.369℃

The TRIPS categorizes companies into five levels: “Outstanding Performance,” “Excellent Performance,” “Active Engagement,” “Behind Schedule,” and “Stagnant.” Currently, nearly a thousand companies have disclosed their data, with only 20% meeting the Paris Agreement’s 1.5℃ target. AROMASE is among this 1% elite group, with a temperature control target of 1.369℃, outperforming 99% of other companies in carbon reduction effectiveness.

We enable your company to achieve its goals.

This stark contrast highlights the urgent need for more companies to take meaningful action towards carbon reduction. AROMASE’s achievement demonstrates that it is possible to make substantial progress, but a collective effort is required to make a real impact on global warming. Only by working together can we hope to meet and exceed the targets necessary to protect our planet for future generations.
